A number of past students of Colaiste Ide agus Iosef, Abbeyfeale, returned to the school to offer advice to present students about career choices at the Role Model Career Evening held last Wednesday
The inaugural Role Model Career Evening which took place in Coláiste Ide agus Iosef, Abbeyfeale, last Wednesday was a huge success, with large numbers of students and parents turning out. The event saw over 60 past pupils of the community college return to share their their post-school course/career experience with present students. The past students were put on panels covering over a dozen broad career areas. The present students of the school were able to ask questions and after talks finished there was a wide range of stands from the universities, institutes of technologies and P.L.C colleges from the Munster area, which students also had an opportunity to speak with.
