George Daly Junior Entrepreneur Programme
This year the pupils of 5th and 6th class in Scoil Naomh Iósef are taking part in the Junior Entrepreneur Programme. This is a primary school initiative set up to help develop entrepreneurial skills throughout primary schools. Over several weeks the pupils have worked tirelessly together in order to create a product which we could bring to market. The pupils came up with different ideas at the beginning and we eventually made a group decision on picking our chosen product. We decided to produce monthly planners. We worked closely in conjunction with OMAH printing company and created our unique Monthly Planners. We had our showcase day on Thursday 30th March which was greatly supported by the local community. We have so far raised over €600.
