Following many months of hard work, students from Scoil Pól in Kilfinane recently joined over 140 other schools from, all over Ireland by participating in the AIB Build A Bank regional finals.
Competing schools have a chance to be one of 48 schools to take part in the finals of the competition at the RDS, Dublin on Wednesday 21st March.
The stakes were high with a prize of €5,000 on offer to the outright winners but the Scoil Pól team once again acquitted itself with distinction in reaching the final.
The students are now looking forward in eager anticipation to representing the Kilfinane school at national level.
The team, which is planning some activities for Scoil Pól and the wider community in the weeks ahead, has offered special thanks to school principal, Mike O’Hara, teachers, student officers from AIB Bank, Kilmallock, Kieran Barrett and Maureem Mullane for their support and guidance.
