Local Minister Seán Sherlock has confirmed to the Mallow Star that he is in receipt of correspon-dence from the National Roads Authority showing that proposals are in motion in regard to the upgrade of the M20 Motorway from Cork to Limerick..
“It is vital that we don’t take the foot off the pedal and let it (the M20) go to a stage where it goes too costly to complete,” said minister Sherlock. “I know from my discussions that there are proposals to put the road into play. I’m happy to say that there has been significant lobbying by myself to my colleagues Ministers Howlin and Donohue, along with Fred Barry of the NRA.”
“The NRA has put plans to together for the Atlantic Corridor and these plans can form part of that.”
