Tadhg O’Neill from Mallow Handball Club who was named Young Male Player of the Year at the All Star Handball Awards in Croke Park.

Tadhg O’Neill from Mallow Handball Club was named Young Male Player of the Year at the All Star Handball Awards in Croke Park. In 2017, Tadhg brought home many titles, All Ireland 40×20 minor title in both doubles and singles, and also an All Ireland 40×20 singles win for his school, to name just two. What a great achievement for Tadhg, his family and fellow club members are very proud of his achievements throughout the year. All the hours which he puts into training have paid off. Well done to Tadhg from all in Mallow Handball Club.

Ciarán O’Donovan
Mallow also had some of new members take to the court for the first time after a short few weeks of training. Ciarán O’Donovan played in the U10 singles County B semi final. Ciarán gave it his all, and was unfortunate to lose to a Conna player. Well done to Ciarán on a great first game of handball. No doubt he will have many more games to come.

U11D County semi-final
Paddy and John Murphy were out in their first game of handball at the U11D Cork county B semi final last weekend. The brothers played a great game of handball and beat Conna. They will now play in their first final this weekend, and one thing is for sure, it won’t be the last final for the talented pair. Congratulations to Paddy and John.
