TEMPLEGLANTINE CHASE PROVINCIAL SUCCESS

Sunday promises to be a red letter day for Templeglantine when the local hurlers go in search of a Munster hurling title.

The local G.A.A. club, winners of the West and County Junior B Hurling League and Championship double in 2013, are just one step away from lifting the Munster Junior B hurling title.

Templeglantine, following a semi-final victory over Cork champions O’Dono-van Rossa, take on Tipperary standard bearers, Holycross-Ballycahill at the Bog Garden Rathkeale on Sunday at 2pm.

This is the ninth year of the competition, efficiently organised by Killeedy G.A.A. Club and Tem ple-glantine will be bidding to become just the second club from Limerick to lift the Michael Fitzmaurice trophy. St. Mary’s Rathkeale were the only previous Limerick winners, in 2010.

A huge crowd is expected to descend on Rathkeale on Sunday for what pro-mises to be an enthralling encounter. See big match preview pages 55-59.
