The new term coincided with the release of the Leaving Certificate results which saw six Patrician Academy students achieving the maximum of 625 points, while one student, Max Norton, got eight H1 grades. Only five students in Ireland achieved this. Results for Leaving Cert Applied students were top class also, with eight gaining a Distinction and two students a Merit.
Principal Elaine O’Regan said “We are incredibly proud of all our students and their successes. I would like to thank their parents for entrusting me and my staff with the education of their sons. These results are just a stepping stone towards their dreams. I am confident that they will embrace any challenges ahead.”
