Thirty-two students in Cork ETB-run schools in Co. Cork achieved the maximum 625 points in last year’s Leaving Certificate Examination, and they were honoured along with other high achievers at a special event in Cork City Hall last Friday night, attended by Mr. Michael McGrath, T.D., Minister for Finance. Davis College in Mallow had three students who achieved 625 points in LC2022, and they are Fionn Donoghue, Ailbhe Moloney and Hannah Staley. Also honoured were Gabriela O’Keeffe from Coláiste Mhuire in Buttevant, and Jane O’Donoghue from Coláiste Treasa in Kanturk. In total, 290 students across 25 Cork ETB schools received pre-sentations on the night for achievements in the Leaving Certificate and Leaving Certificate Applied Examinations.
