Cork Education and Training Board held an Awards night on 7th February in The Rochestown Park Hotel, Cork. Three students who completed their courses in Mallow Youthreach in 2013 were presented with awards by Cork ETB for their success and achievements in Leaving Certificate Applied and Student of the Year 2013. Stephanie Jones and Margarita McCarthy both received Commendation Certificates from Cork ETB, presented to them by CETB Chairperson Gerry Kelly for their outstanding LCA results, both receiving distinctions. Jessica O’Sullivan-Griffin received a special award and Certificate from CEO of Cork ETB Ted Owens awarding her Student of the Year 2013 for her commitment and contribu-tion to Youthreach when she was a student there.
Staff of Mallow Youth-reach are very proud of the students and wish them every success in their future careers – they are currently pursuing careers in Sound Engineering, Tourism and Travel and Childcare .
