Dairygold has begun a significant programme of remedial works on its Waste Water Treatment Plant in Mallow. The project works represent an investment of about €1 million. Over the last six months the organis-ation has been working closely with a variety of environmental experts, including engineers, waste water treatment plant and odour abatement consul-tants. The overall project is also being carried out in consultation with the Environmental Protection Agency.
“We expect the scope of works to be complete within the next four months,” a spokesperson said.
