Futsal player Cian Kelleher has been selected for the Ireland Down Syndrome futsal team (5-a-side soccer). Cian first began playing soccer with the Football for All programme and is a member of Mallow United Special Olympics Club. The Ireland team will compete in Italy in September, and each player will wear the green jersey and receive an international cap. They will make history as the first ever futsal team with Down Syndrome to represent Ireland.
