With only 20 days to the culmination of the 131 days of fundraising for the Joanne McMahon Fund, and the approaching Walk/Run/Cycles on April 17th, a number of events are being held this weekend including a special quiz night this Friday at 9pm in Knockaderry Community Centre, a coffee morning on Saturday from 10am to 12 noon at the home of Margaret Condron, Kilmihill, Ballingarry, a traditional night of music, song and story in the Old Mill on Saturday, a Cycleathon in Castlemahon Hall on Sunday at 3pm, and a special bingo night next Wednesday in Ardagh Community Centre.
Also, registration for the Walk/Run/Cycle on 17th April is now live online at www.eventbrite.ie/e/joanne-mcmahon-thanksgiving-fundraiser-tickets. Everybody can register for free, and after registering each person will get a confirmation email with their email address and number. Voluntary contributions will be welcome at check-in on the day. Everybody will have six options: a 90k/80k/40k cycle, 10k run or walk, or 5k fun walk.
CDs of the Ardagh Church concert for the Joanne Fund are available in Curley’s in Ardagh, O’Connor’s Olympic Filling Station, Newcastle West, and in Coughlan’s Supermarket in Castlemahon, for €10 each. Finally, if anybody has any questions about any of the above please call Liam on 087-2410606.
