SHANAGOLDEN LIBRARY RE-OPENS

On Monday 12th August the old library in Shanagolden was officially handed over to Shanagolden Community Council. After many months of negotiating Chairman of Limerick County Council John Sheahan formerly handed over the key to Eamon Mullane, Chairman of Shanagolden Community Council. The library is in splendid condition having been refurbished recently. It will now be made available to groups or organisations who wish to hold meetings or workshops. Shanagolden Community Council wishes to thank all the local councillors and especially Damien Brady, CEO of Limerick County Library for all the work in securing the transfer of the building.
